What’s in the Box: October 2019

Leaves are changing, the prime hatches of the year are starting to go off, and fish are on the move all along the coast, it must be Fall. This month, we bring you a stellar collection of flies for whatever species your casting to, and some awesome accessories from our friends around the fly fishing world. Find out what came in this month’s boxes below and if you haven’t joined The Postfly Tribe yet, click here to sign up. For those of you with fear of commitment, we’ve just released our kits WITHOUT subscription here.

Trout

This month we bring you, “The Caddis Lifecycle”! A collection of dries, nymphs and wet flies that mimic any caddis in the water. Every fall caddisflies hatch across the nation and take to the air from below the surface to mate before the coming winter. No matter what color the caddis in your area tend to be, we’ve got you covered!

Warmwater

Its feeding season for almost every warm water fish as they pack on the pounds getting up to their winter weights. You’ll find smallmouth chasing baitfish around the shallows or rivers and lakes, sometimes blitzing on them like Stripers. Either way, its time to break out the 8 weight and get after your big bass of the Fall.
