Weekend Chase: Big ‘Bows

Weekends are for the chase, when it comes to our lives (me and my husband), anyway. We work hard with full-time jobs and side hustles, we parent hard with two kiddos to raise, we dog hard with three dogs to develop into outstanding fur-citizens and by the time we hit the water, we are ready to fully indulge in the solace whether or not we’re haggard and worn thin. Life can be exhausting – amiright?! – but that’s just part of the journey.

Not surprisingly, our drive to chase trout – or any species, for that matter – usually outweighs the exhaustion (thankfully!). And when one of us gets to have a full solo day on the water, you better believe we indulge, 110%!

I recently had the opportunity to do just that, thanks to the team at Costa and a couple of fantastic guides at Trouts Fly Fishing out of Denver, Colorado.

If chasing fish is your thing and you’re in Colorado, I highly encourage taking a full day with this crew! Grab some Costa shades so you can see those fish and hit Trouts up! And if you need some proof on the fun factor, scroll!

Got ’em!
Walking an unnamed stretch of trout-packed water with our guide, Jon!
Where there’s one…
There’s more.
Jon, with the assist.
Today was a good day.
